Unfortunately, because of funding limitations, TAC is not able to provide assistance to individuals with housing problems, individuals seeking more information on how to access or use subsidized housing programs, or individuals seeking human services assistance. However, there are several organizations that may be able to assist people with disabilities on an individual basis. You can locate the organizations nearest you through the following links:
National Disability Rights Network
National Council on Independent Living
Legal Services Corporation

Housing Search
HUD maintains two online resources of subsidized apartments.
Multifamily Inventory of Units for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities - provides state-by-state listings of HUD-subsidized apartments.
Subsidized Apartment Search - This resource allows you to search for housing by state, city, apartment type and designation.
For additional assistance, contact the Public Housing Authority near you.
Section 8 Applications
In order to fill out a Section 8 application, you'll need to contact a housing authority or a non-profit that administers vouchers. All are listed, by state, on this site: http://www.hud.gov/offices/pih/pha/contacts/index.cfm
TAC neither administers Section 8 vouchers nor maintains Section 8 waiting lists.
TAC works directly with non-profit organizations, local and federal government agencies, and other organizations to provide affordable housing and human services assistance on behalf of people with disabilities.
