McKinney/Vento Homeless Technical Assistance: The Role of Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) in Addressing Homelessness
This one-day training provides a comprehensive review of the resources available to PHAs that are dedicated to ending homelessness. The training is designed for PHA management staff responsible for administering the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, Public Housing Units, McKinney/Vento programs, and other rental assistance and development programs. Topics covered include:
- HUD’s Continuum of Care;
- New funding opportunities available to PHAs;
- Resources available to PHAs to address homelessness; and
- Creative ways PHAs can help end homelessness.
