Homelessness Prevention Models: Effective Approaches for Veterans

Description: This face-to-face TA seminar provides a comprehensive overview of homelessness prevention models and best practices including rapid re-housing, short-term rental assistance and housing stabilization services. Participants will learn how to apply these best practice prevention models and services in order to develop a prevention program that meets the needs of veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Instruction and examples will be provided to assist potential applicants in designing and proposing quality, innovative projects that are consistent with the VA's priorities to prevent and end veteran homelessness.
