Kimberley R. Isett, Ph.D., M.P.A., is Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. Her research deals with interorganizational collaboration, public management, and the delivery of services to vulnerable populations. Two of her articles have been named Best Published Paper, the first by the Academy of Management’s Health Care Management and Public and Nonprofit Divisions (2001) and the second by the American Review of Public Administration (2004). Dr. Isett earned an M.P.A. in Public Administration (1998, Health and Human Services Policy), and a Ph.D. in Management (2001, Organization Theory and Political Economy) from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. She then garnered an NIMH post-doctoral research fellow at the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, under the mentorship of Joseph P.
