Kelly Kelleher, M.D., M.P.H., is Director of the Office of Clinical Sciences at Columbus Children’s Research Institute and Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at The Ohio State University. His previous position had been as the inaugural Staunton Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Kelleher previously was Associate Director of the Center for Ambulatory Research and Education at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital. His current research focuses on accessibility, effectiveness and quality of health care services for children and their families, especially those affected by mental disorders, substance abuse or violence. In particular, he studies the impact of technology, organization and financing of services and systems on outcomes of care. Dr. Kelleher serves on several federal and national panels, including the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Mental Health Task Force. He received his B.S. and M.D. from the Ohio State University. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Northwestern University and the Children’s Memorial Hospital.
