Under a contract with California’s Department of Housing and Community Development, TAC provided 24 mostly rural and suburban communities with capacity-building assistance to enhance their homeless crisis response systems. Our consultants provided help developing strategic plans to end homelessness; coordinated entry evaluations and recommendations; disaster preparedness plans; and system maps to right-size outreach, prevention, diversion, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing programs.
