Medicaid

Medicaid provides access to primary and mental health care, substance use disorder treatment, and long-term services and supports for individuals with limited income including people with disabilities, frail elders, children and youth in foster care, individuals exiting the juvenile/criminal justice system, and people experiencing homelessness. Medicaid also plays a critical role in financing the services and supports that many people need in order to access and maintain community-integrated living opportunities.

TAC is fluent in federal Medicaid rules and regulations, and skilled at leveraging Medicaid to promote access to services that help people with disabilities to live at home and in the community.
