Colette Croze, M.S.W.

Colette Croze, M.S.W., has over 30 years’ experience in the public behavioral health system, working for county and state governments in senior management positions, including in Missouri and Illinois. She specializes in public resource management, focusing on purchasing and design options for managed systems of care and integrated health strategies. Ms. Croze has worked with numerous states and counties that have re-engineered public systems through the use of care management and risk arrangements with both public and private organizations. Many of her consulting engagements have involved the development of federal Medicaid waivers and state plan amendments. Recent engagements include providing coaching and technical assistance under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Innovation Accelerator Program on state Medicaid-housing agency partnerships and on substance use disorders (SUDs), and evaluating a local SUD treatment and recovery system for adequacy and best practices.
