In 2023, TAC assisted the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) in assessing affordable housing and residential capacity for people with behavioral health conditions. TAC worked with ODMHSAS to identify system strengths and gaps, along with opportunities to increase the supply of housing and housing-related services for individuals with behavioral health conditions in integrated community-based settings. TAC later provided ongoing technical assistance and consultation to help ODMHSAS build state and local housing system partnerships and improve housing-related service delivery, including through the state’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics. TAC also supported the state’s Olmstead-related planning efforts.
