TAC is a leader on the HUD SNAPS disaster technical assistance team, bringing both personal and programmatic experience to this work. After Hurricane Ian struck the United States in 2022, TAC facilitated the initial rollout and implementation of Rapid Unsheltered Survivor Housing (RUSH), HUD’s first program dedicated to the disaster recovery needs of people experiencing homelessness. TAC continues to provide RUSH subject matter expertise in HUD technical assistance.
