From 2020 to 2025, on behalf of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Homeless and Housing Resource Center (HHRC), TAC developed and delivered training curricula and related products on services and housing models for people with serious mental illness or substance use disorders who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The audience for this work included SAMSHA behavioral health grantees and providers working to serve these populations effectively. TAC products developed for the HHRC include an Eviction Prevention Strategies webinar and an accompanying Toolkit for Tenants & Service Providers, which addressed upstream eviction prevention strategies, housing support services, landlord partnerships, support with behavioral health needs, and service coordination.
