Through specialized trainings, TAC helps communities strengthen their use of rapid rehousing (RRH) as a strategy to prevent and end homelessness. Using customized modalities from multi-day, in-person workshops to remote learning series, we adapt our trainings to meet the different needs of system leaders, frontline providers, and participants who have experienced homelessness.
Through a contract with the state of California, TAC facilitated a six-part training to provide practitioners in Ventura with the knowledge to implement their RRH programs in line with best practices. In Long Island (NY), TAC conducted a two-day, on-site workshop for leadership and frontline staff that included strategies to align RRH programs as a system-wide intervention. In Maine, Indiana, and Arkansas, TAC has delivered remote learning series on RRH core components and housing problem-solving, offering Continuums of Care practical ways to implement RRH effectively, strategies to continuously improve their practice, and skills for direct service providers to help people avoid homelessness altogether.
