Bree Williams has over a decade of experience in leading a homeless response system at the local level and spearheading innovative strategies to support the implementation of rapid rehousing (RRH) and permanent supportive housing (PSH) projects. She has worked in Continuum of Care (CoC) leadership, built effective partnerships with private and public sector housing developers, and crafted housing policies and initiatives that propel the Housing First philosophy. Ms. Williams brings deep experience in developing and implementing strategies to create access to rental units in communities to bolster effectiveness of RRH and PSH programs.
Ms. Williams works with CoCs, CoC-funded programs, and Emergency Solutions Grant funded programs to maximize opportunities to prevent and end homelessness, and she is a technical assistance provider for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP). Ms. Williams brings experience implementing a successful YHDP award as a former lead of a Round 1 community, as well as successful local implementation of ESG-CV waivers under the CARES Act.
