Michael Harmon-Fields (he, him, his) brings over four years of experience supporting projects and initiatives, both through technical and administrative assistance and in outreach efforts, with a special focus on public policy. He has a background in LGBTQIA+ political engagement and social policy, and holds an unwavering commitment to equitable solutions. Having earned his B.A. in Political Science with a Pre-Law minor from Eastern Illinois University, he is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration Policy degree at American University with a specialty in public policy. Before joining TAC, Mr. Harmon-Fields was an operations consultant for a tech startup and worked extensively on political campaigns, most recently as an LGBTQIA+ policy advisor for a U.S. Senate candidacy in 2022. At TAC, he co-manages the organization’s social messaging and video conferencing apps and provides technical support for TAC’s specialized projects throughout the country, including the facilitation and remediation of webinars for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program.
