Chanita Jackson (she, her, hers) has over 20 years’ experience in the social service field ranging from direct case management provision to nonprofit management and government administration. Her experience with federal, state, local, and private grant programs has addressed homelessness and housing instability in subpopulations such as individuals, families, seniors, youth, young adults, and Veterans.

Ms. Jackson has expertise in identifying financial objectives and forecasting Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Grant & Per Diem (GPD) program requirements; managing annual budgets, expenditures, and monthly reports; data collection; and analyzing variances.

She has been a key contributor in the development and management of housing-focused projects, organizational strategic plans, and curricula. Her primary focus is on the implementation of functional community plans, coalition initiatives, and programming strategies. She has expertise in technical assistance for Youth Homeless Demonstration Program recipients and other state and federally funded community efforts to end youth homelessness.

Ms. Jackson is an experienced program evaluator familiar with several methodologies of data collection, analysis, and reporting protocol. At TAC, Ms. Jackson provides technical support to state entities, local governments and Continuums of Care, nonprofits, housing authorities, and county leads who received U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development funding.

Prior to joining TAC, Ms. Jackson served as the Deputy Director of the Washington State Department of Commerce’s Office of Homeless Youth Prevention and Protection.
