Natalie Goodman (she, her, hers) has over seven years of experience in the field of housing for people experiencing homelessness, with a focus on program design and management that centers local community experts. She brings extensive knowledge of homelessness prevention programs and services and equitable service delivery, with expertise in building partnerships between nonprofit, public, and private entities. At TAC, Ms. Goodman provides technical assistance (TA) for unsheltered homelessness, encampment resolution, and homeless system assessments. She also provides TA to communities through HUD’s Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program, supporting the development of innovative housing practices to prevent and end youth homelessness. With expertise in the HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) program, Ms. Goodman regularly staffs the CoC national help desk.

Prior to joining TAC, Ms. Goodman coordinated the Residential Assistance for Families in Transition (RAFT) and Housing Consumer Education Center programs for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, directing emergency rental assistance and homelessness prevention resources to thousands of households across the Commonwealth. She provided TA, training, compliance monitoring, and data-driven performance evaluation for community-based agencies.

Ms. Goodman previously oversaw the City of Boston’s Moving On initiative, which provided affordable housing opportunities to formerly homeless individuals who graduated from their supportive services. Earlier in her career, she worked in direct services as a housing advocate, assisting households experiencing homelessness with creating individualized housing plans, navigating the affordable housing system, and overcoming barriers to housing.
