In 2017, TAC authors contributed two working papers to the “What Is the Inpatient Bed Need if You Have a Best Practice Continuum of Care?” series produced by the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD): “The Role of Permanent Supportive Housing in Determining Psychiatric Inpatient Bed Capacity” and “The Role State Mental Health Authorities Can Play in the Delivery of Integrated Primary and Behavioral Health Care for People with Serious Mental Illness, including those with Co-Occurring Substance Use Disorders.” In 2020, TAC contributed two more papers to NASMHPD’s “Crisis Services: Meeting Needs, Saving Lives” series: “Effective Behavioral Health Crisis Care for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness” and “Addressing Substance Use in Behavioral Health Crisis Care.”
